CHAINTRONIC

The model CHAINTRONIC allows for significantly higher quilting speed through the double chain-stitch technology. The machines can move the fabric and quilt in a 270° angle with numerous different patterns including tag-and-jump. The control and drive unit is equal to the QUILTTRONIC. Since the stitch optic differs on the top side versus the lower side (see image on the right) the chain-stitch is mostly used to produce items that have only one visible quilted surface like mattresses, incontinence layers, insulation material as well as some technical textile applications.

 
The human interface is WINDOWS-based, remote diagnosis and online services via modem are implemented, multilingual menu navigation, thread monitor, three needle-bars as well as active hook tracing system also come with DAMEN’s CHAINTRONIC. And the best: all of this is almost maintenance free. The following list highlights the main characteristics of the CHAINTRONIC:

• 1.100 rpm average working speed
• Available sizes range from  100“ (254 cm) to 130“ (330 cm)
• Robust and space-saving construction without any loss of productivity
• Pattern variety within 360° range inkluding Tack-and-Jump and perfect quilting of circles
• Active hook tracing system and therefore easy hook positioning, lower needle consumption and reduced change-over times
• Easy operability through servo-motors on the main drive which allows precise automatic positioning without any manula interference
• Biggest space available underneath the machine in the market for highest productivity allowing for spool sizes up to 40.000 m
• Possibility to use needles down to size 120
